Accidents and Injuries
-
There is always a possibility that accidents will happen when cooking. Cooking Round the World reviews best practices with children on the first day of class, giving safety instructions about knife and heat safety and using sharp cookware. Despite the cooking demonstrations and warnings, parents should note that in signing up your child it is possible for an accident to take place.

-
Parents with children who are accident prone, can’t safely reach the stove, are fragile, have learning or physical challenges, or are under 7, may want to consider supervising their children’s cooking practices. If a child has any of the above characteristics and the parent is unable to oversee a child’s cooking, Cooking Round the World recommends the child not take the class until the parent can provide supervision.

-
While we sympathize with children experiencing any accident, Cooking Round the World cannot be held responsible or liable for the expenses that may incur when a child needs medical attention from a cooking accident.
