From 10 – 11:30 am each class. Computer/laptop & internet needed! Once you register for a class, we send you the ZOOM link to the class and for the cooking classes, we send the recipes and cookware needed.

Most of us have fond memories about the smells coming from our mother’s kitchen on Thanksgiving day, licking the batter off a wooden spoon, or drinking our first beer. Licking the Spoon is a writing, remembering, and sharing workshop designed to spark food memories….. and write about them.
Cooking Round the World: – two different 8-week cooking classes from your kitchen FULL

Session 2: Wednesdays: April 15 – June 2
Cost $160 for 8 sessions ($20/class), class limited to 12
Seniors are whisked away to “the country of the day” through a colorful slide presentation, then collaboratively cooking 2 different dishes from that country. As we cook we discuss how the characteristics of the country seeps into the foods we are enjoying.

Session 2: Thursdays: April 16 – June 3

Each state is distinctly known for certain foods, has specific agriculture and climate. This class “visits” 8 different states and enjoys the characteristics of what foods make that state unique and tries out recipes that state is known for.
